  1. What a thoughtful giveaway! I love to sew & quilt, bake, & would love to learn how to crochet. My style is everything vintage, but I also love bright & cheerful colors - especially all shades of pink! Thank you for the chance at the giveaway!

  2. Oh what an awesome giveaway, love to quilt - even tho I'm horrible at it. I also love to cook/bake. I'm bright and blue is my favorite color.

  3. How exciting! a customizable gift!! I spend my time equally sewing and crocheting--always things for our family needs like clothing, or household items. Style, maybe modern--but not in a 70s or abstract way--more in clean lines and less clutter.

  4. I would say Cooking/Baking is what I do most, mostly because I have to have time to do that. Though I do enjoy it. And I really like to sew simple things and knit, though nowadays my knitting is usually wool diaper covers of some sort and I don't have a ton of time for it. I enjoy traditional and modern, purples, greens or dark reds. My crafting generally centers around my kids.

  7. Neat that you're going to India. I considered going there for mission work, but that was just after some violence (2000), so visas weren't being approved; I went as a language student instead. Madras. Also spent 3 months in Madurai, a bit further south. (If you're worried about violence, don't be - it's never in that part of the country. Everyone there is lovely. Think like the US south.) My husband's family's from there, too. (He was born in Houston.)

But back on topic - probably sewing/quilting at the moment, but also a lot of crocheting/knitting. My style is almost uniformly traditional, but I'm learning to appreciate very bright and modern fabrics used in traditional ways. (Still keep buying victorian-style fabrics, though.)

I enjoy baking (sweets and more sweets), cross stitch, crocheting (mostly just toys these days), and sewing and quilting. Almost everything you listed! 80. I am a little Craft ADD myself it seems. At the moment I'm heavily invested in the sewing/quilting/doll making area, but have in the past been very into cross stitch....though I may have to wait on that until my kids are a little bigger. I would like to learn to embroider. I haven't really settled into a style I tend toward the brighter colors and to a certain extent Modern, but I like vintage too.

Thanks for this great give-away. Your daughters are darling!

    ReplyDelete

I, too, have crafting ADD! I love sewing, quilting, embroidery & cross stitch, cooking, jewelry making, mohair braiding... I would LOVE to learn how to crochet and/or knit, but I just haven't had anyone to teach me yet.

Thanks for the chance to win your awesome giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I love all of those outlets. I'm pretty new to sewing/quilting - as in I can make my way around a sewing machine, but still lots to learn. I'm pretty advanced at crocheting/knitting, decent at cross stitch (although still working on making the back pretty), and while I can cook pretty much anything, I'm a total disaster at baking! Hehe. :)

I'd probably describe myself as modern. Thanks for this giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Excellent giveaway idea! I love to knit. =) I love to bake too, but I'm trying to eat healthier these days so I'll stick to the knitting.

    ReplyDelete

  87. Oooo, what a fascinating giveaway! I can't wait to see what you make for the winner. :)

I'm a sewing gal at heart. It's what makes me happy! Though I always am knitting and embroidering too. I wish I could learn baking, but there's just something about and my kitchen - breads don't rise, nothing sets up correctly, the oven never seems to do the same thing twice ... it just never works out. Alas and alack! :)

My style is ... woodsy/watery. Classic, vintage, northwoods, Pacific Northwest. Bright and Sunny or wet and gloomy! :) With cute kitties thrown in. I tells ya, I'm a mix of just about everything (except paisley. Can't stand it!).

  110. What an opportunity! i never tried to define my craft before. I do a lot of sewing and quilting but I also do a lot of handwork, embroidering on linen and wool felt and add some beading. I have crocheted all my life and love using perle coton and small hooks to make motifs. I go on knitting binges now and then and I love clean colors: true pinks, blues, reds and greens. I have an obsessive need to use ricac, piping and buttons. I love all things vintage. I was a chef in a restaurant but I rarely cook anymore because my SIL is an even better chef than I ever was despite having less training. Gasp!
So ther you have it, I am a fellow ADHD crafter and I embrace my craziness!

  181. Hello,
This is a fun idea for a giveaway. I love to sew and quilt. I like just about anything-brights, modern, vintage, classic. It all depends on who I am making what for. I like to make charity quilts. I am working on one now for a little girl who has Alexander's disease, like my grandson. There are a few others with this disease I would like to make quilts for so they can raffle them to try to make money to pay medical expenses.

  182. Oooh, this is a fun giveaway! :) I equally love sewing and baking. I have also been dabbling in hand embroidery. I love so many many different kinds of crafts, but I always find my way back to my sewing machine and my oven (yes, baking is creative).

My style is fairly modern. I love gray and yellow together. I also have a long-standing love for aqua. I'm crazy about flowers like mums, peonies, and ranunculus. I love geometric prints as well as large, bold prints. I get a little bored doing the same thing all the time, so I absolutely love trying new projects, patterns, etc. Nothing thrills me like shopping for fabrics and imagining what I could make with them. I suppose this is already more than you wanted to know about me. :)
